1)Start education ladder for the team by Investing in their training and up skilling. This will help team retention.
2) Start a bonus system for the team and reward when targets are achieved . Financial incentives work along with appreciation of achievement .
3) Smile and be positive when you talk to team members. Drive your energy and passion into your team . Say thank you and please for anything you want from them ( it could be just a smile more than actually using the words…. if you get to the words that would be marvellous ) respect them and create respect for yourself . Try and move up the ladder to create a new culture .
4) Start team morning meetings . Do team huddles . Keep it going . This will bring a serious team culture. Each individual leads different days in these meetings.
5) Create a Treatment Co ordinator for handling treatment plans and presentations . She does everything for you ( non clinical ) reports , letters , ppt, photos , presentation etc.
